When we work with lots of PSD file, it is really hard to find the specific file. We have to use Adobe Bridge or Photoshop to see the preview of those files. These applications use Lots of RAM.

I found some dll files to see the Thumblin Preview of PSD file at Windows Explorer (*** I am not talking about Internet Explorer!).

Follow the instruction:

  1. Create System Restore Point at first; so that you can restore you windows setting if go some wrong!
  2. Download the zip file from this link: http://www.sitepoint.com/images/aiicon.zip
  3. Place the following files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Shell
  4. Run the two registry change files
  5. Hope you are enjoying the thumblins of PSD file :)
